Lakhim C. Jain
Founder KES International. Professor Lakhmi C. Jain, PhD, Dr. H.C., ME, BE(Hons), Fellow (Engineers Australia), is with the KES International, United Kingdom. He was formerly with the University of Technology Sydney, the University of Canberra and Bournemouth University. Professor Jain founded the KES International for providing a professional community the opportunities for publications, knowledge exchange, cooperation and teaming. Involving around 5,000 researchers drawn from universities and companies world-wide, KES facilitates international cooperation and generate synergy in teaching and research. KES regularly provides networking opportunities for professional community through one of the largest conferences of its kind in the area of KES.
Valentina E. Balas
Prof. Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 190 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national and international projects. She was the General Chair of the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications 2005-2016 held in Romania and Hungary. Dr. Balas participated in many international conferences as Organizer, Session Chair, and member in International Program Committee. She is a member of EUSFLAT, ACM and a Senior Member IEEE, member in TC – Fuzzy Systems (IEEE CIS), member in TC - Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), member in TC – Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS). Dr. Balas was Vice-president (Awards) of IFSA International Fuzzy Systems Association Council (2013-2015) and is a Join Secretary of Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM), - A Multidisciplinary Academic Body, India.
Qun Wu
Qun Wu, is Professor of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China. He received his Ph.D. in College of Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang University, China, in 2008. He holds a B.E. degree in Industrial Design from Nanchang University, China, in 2001, and an M.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, China, in 2004. Dr. Qun is a Member of IEEE; his research interests include machine learning, human factor, and product innovation design.
Fuqian Shi
Dr. Fuqian Shi is currently a research staff scientist at NYU Langone Health. He received the Ph.D. Degree in engineering from the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University. He was a bioinformatics and AI scientist at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, USA and a Visiting Professor at University of Central Florida. His research interests include AI for healthcare design, biomedical engineering applications for human health and bioinformatics. Dr. Shi serves more than 50 committee board memberships of international conferences. He has published more than 120 journal articles, conference proceedings and books. He also serves as Associate Editors of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence(lJACl), the International Journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis (lJRSDA), and International Journal of Medical Research.
Nilanjan Dey
Dr. Nilanjan Dey received the B.Tech., M.Tech. in information technology from West Bengal Board of Technical University and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2005, 2011, and 2015, respectively. Currently, he is Associate Professor with the Techno International New Town, Kolkata and a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. He has authored over 300 research articles in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and 40 authored books. His research interests include medical imaging and machine learning. Moreover, he actively participates in program and organizing committees for prestigious international conferences, including World Conference on Smart Trends in Systems Security and Sustainability (WorldS4), International Congress on Information and Communication Technology (ICICT), International Conference on Information and Communications Technology for Sustainable Development (ICT4SD) etc. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society and series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing and Data-Intensive Research from Springer Nature and Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare from Elsevier etc. Furthermore, he was an Editorial Board Member of Complex and Intelligence Systems, Springer, Applied Soft Computing, Elsevier and he is an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Information Technology, Springer, International Journal of Information and Decision Sciences etc. He is a Fellow of IETE and member of IE, ISOC etc.
